iPhone 3GS Jailbreak by Geohot

Finally! Users who own iPhone 3GS and iPod touch will be able to perform an untethered jailbreak of their device. The famous hacker Geohot has announced the iPhone 3GS jailbreak possible!

It is also possible that you might be able to jailbreak iPad with this new hack created by Geohot.

This iPhone jailbreak is based on software. It’s pretty simple. If you have used blackra1n, you will be able to perform this jailbreak too. This hack is untethered. However it can work on the tethered devices too (3GS, ipt3, ipt2).

Geohot still didn’t say when the launch date would be. He jokes that iPhone users can’t make it happen any sooner if they continue asking about it. This news is posted on Geohot’s official “On The iPhone” page so it can be trusted!
