Beware! iPad is Attacked by Hackers

Dangerous software penetrates iPads and steals user’s passwords to their email accounts.

 

All iPad users are warned to keep an eye on their device, The Telegraph reports. Hacker attacks are masked: you are offered to download iTunes and “update” your device. And when you follow the link provided, you find yourself on a webpage that looks like iTunes. However this “clone” site sends a Trojan on your iPad that infects Internet Explorer and scans your PC for serial keys to various programs.

Hackers get access to your device and can steal passwords to your email. When it’s done, you start to receive spam every time you check your email account. All infected PC are united in a network of bots.

The software that hacks your device is called Backdoor.Bifrose.AADY. You can recognize this false message by the abundance of passive voice. But only an attentive observe can understand that the letter wasn’t sent by Apple Marketing Service.

This dangerous software is a threat to those iPad users who have a PC. Mac users are in no danger.
