Dev-Team About Impending iPhone Spirit Jailbreak

The famous Dev-Team has published a message about the impending iPhone Spirit jailbreak. Hackers have said what exactly device users should do in preparation.

The Dev-Team reminds owners of iDevices that the first userland iPad 3G jailbreak will be launched by comex (they have no idea what this will happen). The jailbreak is called “Spirit”. You have seen how it works on the iPad before. This demonstration was made by MuscleNerd. It happened within one day of the iPad’s official launch on April 3.

According to the message, Apple will launch new firmware soon after userland jailbreak is made public and reveals the security weakness of the devices even to non-jailbroken users. This has previously happened with the Blackhat exposing the SMS vulnerability. It took Apple one day to close that hole.
