AT&T iPhone Speed Is Too Low
Even when the download speed is above 1 Mpbs, the upload speed is too pitiful. The situation was first faced by iPhone users this weekend. If many users got over 500 Kbps down last Friday, on Saturday these numbers dropped to 97 and 85.
The low speed is witnessed in Cincinnati, Virginia, New York City, Florida, Washington D.C., and many other places across the USA.
Users can’t understand if such miserable speeds are a new AT&T’s policy or a network problem. However the carrier hasn’t explained what is happening yet.
Before the released of the new iPhone 4G, AT&T stopped its unlimited monthly plans for iPhone users. Now Americans can either pay $15 for 200 MB or $25 for 2 GB monthly.
Sadly, users can’t switch to other carriers because AT&T has hampered the iPhone in America. The only chance to solve this speed problem is to jailbreak your device, and search for a new carrier.
